How do I use the app?

Tap the blue microphone and speak your question naturally. For Chinese characters, say something like "龙字怎么写" (How do you write Dragon?). For English words, say "Spell Elephant". You can also tap the keyboard icon to type your question.

How many free lookups do I get?

Free users get 5 lookups per day. The counter resets at midnight. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited lookups.

How do I access Settings?

Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner. A parental gate (multiplication question) will appear to verify you are a parent or guardian.

Can multiple children use the app?

Yes! Go to Settings to create multiple profiles. Each child gets their own learning space with separate usage tracking.

How do I restore my purchase?

Go to Settings (tap gear icon, solve the multiplication question) and tap "Restore Purchases".

The app isn't recognizing my voice.

Make sure you've granted microphone and speech recognition permissions. Go to iOS Settings > SpellPanda and enable both permissions. Speak clearly and close to the device.
